Seaport Infrastructures

Present in both neighbouring zones 1 & 6, and the Trade & Marketing Centre, our amenities include:

ZONE# 1


Developed over an area of 24 000m2, this zone is a dedicated area for Freeport activities.

It comprises of two steel warehouses of 7900 and 5000m2, an office block of 400m2, container storage areas and a dangerous-cargo concrete building serviced by internal roadways and marshalling yard.




Ex Flour Shed

Of a total area of 7900m2, this warehouse consists of 5800 m2 warehousing space, a covered canopy of 1400 m2 and a loading bay of 700 m2. The warehousing space has been converted into 36 individual cabins ranging from 50 to 300 m2. These cabins are leased to Freeport operators for warehousing and minor processing activities. The basic facilities include

  • Electrical supply through 500kVA transformer with individual distribution board for each cabin
  • Steel partitions
  • Outfield toilet block
Lux Shed

Of an area of 5000 m2, the Lux Shed has 2 partitioned areas of 2500 m2 each, one equipped with pallet racking system of a capacity of 2750 pallet positions and the second area being an open warehousing space for bulk cargo.

Common user facilities

Common user facilities are also offered especially for customers handling small volume of goods, seasonal clients, for transshipment and verification activities.

Office facilities


400 m2 of basic office facilities are available for customers wishing to be close to their operations base. Amenities include electricity, telephone lines, air conditioning and furniture.
